Our journey begins.

Well, here we are.  Just a couple of semi-serious 49er fans doing a serious 49 day trip all the way around South America.

Our big adventure begins in Ft. Lauderdale on January 31.  I hope to post here frequently, but some of that is internet connnection dependent on the ship, and some is dependent on whether there's anything of interest to say.  Someone told me to think of this as a journal - which I think is an excellent idea.  So, even if no one but me looks at it, it's still a valuable tool.
